Brian Valik, a Director at Cassel Salpeter & Co., has 25 years of investment banking and accounting experience in New York and South Florida. He has advised clients of all sizes—public and private—on M&A transactions, capital markets activities, as well as a broad range of strategic advisory engagements.
Brian leverages his extensive experience in investment banking, accounting, and finance to provide clients with a well-rounded perspective. He works with business owners to prepare for and successfully execute company sales, as well as raising capital to support growth.
Prior to joining Cassel Salpeter & Co., Brian was with League Advisors, a Florida-based boutique investment bank, where he advised lower middle-market companies on M&A and capital raising efforts.
Prior to that, Brian spent over a decade as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, advising financial institutions—including banks, specialty finance companies, asset managers, and fintech firms—on M&A and capital markets transactions.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in Analytic Finance and Economics. He earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Rutgers University, graduating cum laude.
